Y entre sus personajes aparece el torturador franquista Billy el Niño o la reina Letizia.

Daniel Serrano construye un mapa emocional relatado a dos voces (y algunas más) y que incluye textos extraviados en bolsillos de viejos abrigos, fragmentos de pretéritos diarios y crónicas dispersas de un desencanto que, sin embargo, deja espacio para momentos luminosos.

Tout le monde a vu le film Le Docteur Jivago, un des films emblématiques du cinéma américain, basé sur le roman de Boris Pasternak consacré à la période de la révolution russe, une fiction d'inspiration éminemment autobiographique couronnée du prix Nobel.  Vladimir Fedorovski propose ce « roman vrai » du Docteur Jivago s'appuyant sur le destin de son auteur comme guide à travers les aléas de l'histoire du XXe siècle où la réalité tragique dépasse la fiction.
En effet la vie réelle de Pasternak réunit les éléments des grands drames historiques. Tel un Faust il releva tous les défis : les passions absolues comme les tragédies sans nom, les coups de foudre comme un insolite « amour à distance » immortalisé par ses échanges épistolaires avec une grande poétesse russe, Marina Tsvetaïeva, et le génie de la poésie européenne, Rilke, sans parler des démons de la jalousie dans la grisaille de la vie soviétique ou de l'ambiguïté des rapports de l'écrivain avec le dictateur rouge Staline.
Les archives américaines et russes récemment déclassifiées (dont certaines sont inédites) permettent aussi à l'auteur d'évoquer l'épopée de Pasternak à travers les aléas d'une bataille féroce cyniquement menée par la Cia et le KGB dans l'ombre du Docteur Jivago. Une balade passionnée à travers la Russie éternelle comme la grâce venue des neiges la veille de Noël.
